nostalgic, timeless and effortless
An old and timeless format that's getting a breath of fresh air recently. Film has been around for over 100 years but it is truly a medium that will never die. Whether it be nostalgia, the purist approach, or even becoming trendy to the point that we're all chasing that film-like look. It doesn't take away from the joy that comes with snapping away with no guarantee that you got the shot to then seeing it all come together in the lab as colors and smiles seem to appear out of thin air. This is the true reflection of what happened and what we see preserved in something real and tangible. Film is really special.

With the local labs I work with, you'll never have to worry about missing out on your film photos. All film and digital images get delivered to your gallery within your packages respective turnaround time.
How long does it take to develop?
I do offer film-only if you're up for it! These sessions are a custom made package and typically range between $400-$500. You'll receive a gallery of 70+ images.
Do you offer film-only packages?
I currently don't offer Super-8 add-ons but would love to consider this in the future I freaking love the look and feel of Super-8 video!
Do you shoot Super-8?
Yes of course! If you decide you'd like to add a film package on to your already booked session just send me an email or DM with your preferred package and I'll get it all squared away.
Can we add film on later?
Photography was born on film, back in the day before we had smartphones or TV's. Film was the only way. All of the pictures you've ever seen of historic moments were probably photographed on film and because of that I think we've all garnered this nostalgic sentiment towards film cos the format itself reminds us of the "good ol' days." Using it today in our modern age is just one way we can help our memories feel real, authentic and nostalgic.
What's so special about film?
All film photos get digitally scanned and uploaded to your gallery alongside your digital images. I can send prints too for an additional $75.
